Sunday, June 27, 1915 6h in the morning
I was too restless to stay at home – on Saturday I
just had to go to the exhibition building again. From
6 to 8h, I saw troops marching away,
but not Egon’s regiment.
A cadet from the guardhouse assured me that
reg.[iment] 75 would not leave until tomorrow morning. I
then
chatted with him for a while and then went
for supper with Eugen Farkas
because he was so insistent that I take him with me and
I was so alone; and Farkas is the most
decent man one can imagine – but
I was already home after an hour – and went
straight to bed. –
– [written by another Hand, presumably Adele Harms: Romance begins!]

11h at lunchtime
Now Egon has marched away! When will he
arrive – Glad though I am that he has got away
from here, I am very nervous now about
being all alone in this Prague.
I will try to get some sleep now – in the afternoon
||
I’ll go to Café Arco to read the Vienna newspapers –
and then what!? – hopefully I’ll soon receive news
from Egon, telling me that I can follow him.
10h in the evening
Who can describe my surprise – I am sitting in the café – and
Jenö Farkas asks if he may keep me company
– well, I did not say no – and so we spent the afternoon
together – we went to a concert in the Baumgarten
– then the Riegerpark, in the evening we had supper at
the Englischer Hof.
Otherwise, nothing noteworthy.
